Intro to Entrepreneurship (New Horizon for Entrepreneurs Workshop Series)

The New Horizon Entrepreneurs workshop series creates an enabling environment and community for early-stage and start-up entrepreneurs to learn and gain the wisdom and support needed to realize their ambition, overcome threats, and move forward.  

This series of workshops will include: 

(1) Introduction to entrepreneurship

(2) Business types & legal structures 

(3) Entrepreneurial process: solving problems & taking ownership

(4) Business/career development

(5) Access to business tools & resources

(6) Business negotiation and contracts

The workshops will be delivered through shared experiences and interactive/collaborative learning environments where participants can be vulnerable and applauded.  

Participants will also have the opportunity to sign up for the New Horizon Entrepreneur Mentorship. This is a peer-to-peer program for participants who have attended one or more workshop sessions and are ready to take the bull by the horn and start or grow their business. We'll walk alongside you and give you all the support you need to achieve your dream.  

Who is the workshop for? 

(1) Aspiring entrepreneurs (including returning citizens, retirees, refugees, new immigrants, etc.)

(2) Early-stage or start-up entrepreneurs 

(3) Any person at a crossroads and needs clarity

(4) Any person who is willing and ready to fight through fear, boredom, doubt, and distractions, and apply talent, skill, and determination to make a difference in their lives and impact their community for good
